Social Content Creator

We are looking for a creative Social Content Creator with a passion for video games.
As a Social Content Creator, you are responsible for creating content for the social channels of Game Drive and our clients. You know how to connect with the target group and set a direction for the client.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, posts, gifs, reels, etcetera. You will ensure that all content is developed in alignment with our client’s marketing strategy and brand positioning.

Day-to-day duties

• Conceptualize and produce engaging video content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and more
• Oversee client’s game and company branding
• Utilize different social media tools and channels
• Jump on the latest trends, news, and media developments
• Educate other staff on social media best practices
• Execute visuals for paid advertisements on social media
• Implement performance learnings into improved concepts

Skills required

• Equivalent diploma in the Creative field
• Exceptional video editing and graphical design skills
• 2 years of experience working in social content creation
• Self-motivated and initiative-taking
• Creative and multi-tasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Trend-savvy
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple deadlines
• Affinity with video games, able to generate enthusiasm and empathy for each project
• Ability to work with professional creation software e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Final Cut Pro, Canva

We offer:

• Starting contract:
  • Employment contract (gross salary of €2.600,00 – €3.500,00 based on a full-time schedule) or a Freelance contract

Media Design Intern

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing intern who will support us in our day-to-day marketing activities for online clients.

As an internationally oriented company in the center of Utrecht, we offer lots of variety for your internship. We work with several game studios, meaning a lot of diversity in our games and marketing activities. Some examples are the WW1 Game Series, Tricky Towers, the We Were Here Series, and more.

Your duties will include company design work, producing concepts for promotional material, content marketing support, and much more!

Skills we’re looking for:

• Marketing creative with excellent attention to detail
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Acrobat Professional
• Can work independently while being a team player at the same time
• Affinity for video games, able to generate enthusiasm and empathy for each project
• Year 2/3/4 – Bachelor scholarship related to Marketing, Advertising, and/or Communications

Please note that the minimum duration of an internship at Game Drive is three months. It’s not possible to combine it with writing your thesis.
