PR Manager
We are looking for a creative PR manager with a passion for video games to be part of the Game Drive marketing team.
As a PR manager you will build and manage relationships with press and influencers supporting us and the games of our clients. You will be responsible for increasing the awareness of and engagement with each client and their games.
Your duties
- Develop, deliver, and execute PR plans, campaigns and seasonal PR calendars
- Organize and manage press moments e.g. previews, reviews, let’s plays, etc.
- Produce content for press kits, press releases, award (show) entries, and pitches
- Creatively and strategically deliver major news announcements
- Manage media inquiries, interview requests and reports
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a regular basis
- Help maximize share-of-voice on the web for all clients and their games
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within the industry
- Maintain a keen understanding of game industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Identify and share competitor insights with the team
- Brief and manage external local PR and influencer agencies
- Optimize communication via PR (testing) tools, analytics, SEO reports, surveys and more
- Support the Game Drive team and/or clients at exhibitions and events
Skills required
- Creative with exceptional English writing skills. Preferred: native English
- Experience managing media relationships and collaborating with external agencies / stakeholders
- Skills to act as a spokesperson, proactively pitching and placing stories in the media, as well as managing media relationships and maintaining an up-to-date network of media contacts
- Strong communication skills when liaising with colleagues, influencers, press, and clients – able to identify and express the value of client games
- Good understanding of the role social influencers can play in promoting and driving commercial value for brands
- Ability to relate to influencers and press, develop trust, rapport, and long-term relationships
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
- Affinity with video games, able to generate enthusiasm and empathy for each project
- Familiarity with current and emerging PR platforms, current gaming trends and social media – in particular Twitter and LinkedIn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple deadlines
- Minimum 2 year PR experience

Executive Marketing Manager
We are looking for an Executive Marketing Manager to be part of the Game Drive marketing team.
As an Executive Marketing Manager you will support the marketing manager in carrying out various strategies and tasks, and also serve and secure the needs of our clients. As an opportunity seeker and people manager at the same time, you will strive to bring the best possible results for our clients and their games.
Your duties
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, marketing team, partners, and clients on marketing strategy
- Oversee the client relationship, determine their short-term and long-term needs, protect their interests, and ensure the delivery of quality service
- Handle communications and briefings to colleagues; communicate (campaign) objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
- Flag risks or potential problems from internal or external factors
- Work out project plans with the Marketing Manager and manage these projects from start to finish within the marketing team
- Take control of deadlines and ensure timely delivery of reports, assets or other marketing efforts from colleagues
- Coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects, goals and tasks
- Read, identify, and understand reports; translate opportunities and post-project insights into actions
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term goals, identify and execute improvements for processes, content, and sales
- Review marketing channels, performing quality assurance
- Produce reports and organize presentations for clients and colleagues
- Provide feedback and assist in the development of all marketing activities

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commercial education: business or marketing

Online Marketing Intern (Q3/Q4 2023)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern that will support us in our day-to-day marketing activities for online clients. This internship is for Q3/Q4 2023.
As an internationally oriented company in the center of Utrecht, we offer lots of variety for your internship. We work together with several game studios, meaning lots of diversity in our games and marketing activities. Some examples are the WW1 Game Series, Tricky Towers, the We Were Here Series, and more.
